For more than 10 years, Guymon has supported the class of “Leadership Guymon”. Leadership Guymon is a comprehensive program designed to identify, develop and motivate new leadership for the community. Program objectives are accomplished by team-building activities and exposure to local issues, regional resources, and various community leaders. Leadership programs also provide opportunities for lasting friendships and self-exploration. With this in mind, Guymon Leadership is assigned to put together a class project. This project is chosen by the group and all funds are raised by the group.

Guymon Leadership 2010 has an outstanding project this year that they have chosen. This project consists of putting together a directory for the Guymon Cemetery. This directory would be kept up to date by this Leadership Class and the help from the Funeral Homes in our area. From the research that has taken place, we have found that we have some unmarked graves, so additional data will be collected. Also, the total cost for the gazebo and the unit to hold the directory is $10,000.00. We hope to raise this money with donations from local residents and businesses.

You know your valuable contribution is being used effectively. Guymon Leadership is dedicated to putting all of the funding towards this project and enhancing our community.

Guymon Community Enrichment Foundation will be glad to give you a receipt for your Tax-deductible donation. They can provide you a letter of their 501-3C upon request for your tax-deduction.
